Tips for Selling your Home

Selling your home goes beyond simply throwing a sign on the front lawn and waiting for the right buyer to come along. Sellers should really be prepared to have their home shown on short notice and be forewarned that buyers can be picky! Having your home in tip-top shape will only ensure fewer showings, a shorter time on the market (read: less disruption to your life), a more desirable offer(S), and all that fun stuff!

I found this article (written by an appraiser and broker) with helpful tips for sprucing up your home and preparing it for sale.

In today's market, it's the little details that can make the difference! When a buyer pulls up to your home and they immediately see a section of damaged siding, they are automatically thinking $$$...BEFORE they have even walked in the door. So, take the extra few days and properly prepare your home for the market....your bottom line will thank you :)

If you are looking for a truly move-in ready property, we have a couple of wonderful condos that fit the bill! Check our this one if you want to be in Colchester, surrounded by fantastic green spaces and the bike path (click here if you want to see a video on it!). Or, if you are looking for something within walking distance to downtown Burlington, make sure you check this one out! These sellers have really taken the extra steps to prepare their homes for the market, and it really shows!

If you would like additional information on these properties, or to schedule a showing, feel free to contact me!
